Kristi Tyler

As a former prosecutor, I evaluated criminal cases from the prosecution’s side. I looked for legal and factual problems to overcome and obtain a conviction. Now, I identify those problems and use them to benefit my clients.

With understanding and compassion, Kristi faces legal problems head-on and helps clients navigate the legal system with the knowledge and experience she gained as a former prosecutor. Kristi believes that practicing law is an opportunity to help others who find themselves in difficult situations. She is an advocate with a listening ear who will walk alongside you to get the best resolution for your case.

Kristi has tried nearly 100 jury cases during her years as a Collin County prosecutor. During her tenure at the District Attorney’s Office, she served as a misdemeanor court chief, Chief of Domestic Violence, and Chief of the Felony Crimes Against Children Division, and handled cases involving injury and sexual assault of children. She also handled cases in the Specialized Crime Division, where she focused on financial crimes, public integrity matters, and other complex or unique cases.

Kristi is a member of the Texas Bar College, named an Elite Lawyer, and featured as one of the Top 100 Trial Attorneys in Criminal Law by the National Trial Lawyers Association.

Since leaving the District Attorney’s Office, Kristi has been a fierce advocate for clients of all ages, handling CPS, Juvenile, and Criminal Defense cases.

Kristi earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M, College Station, and received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. Outside the firm, Kristi enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the great outdoors.
