Kristi Tyler

Kristi has tried nearly 100 jury cases during her years as a Collin County Prosecutor. During her tenure at the District Attorney’s Office, she served as a misdemeanor court chief, Chief of Domestic Violence, and Chief of the Felony Crimes Against Children Division, where she handled cases involving injury and sexual assault of children. She also handled cases in the Specialized Crime Division, where she focused on financial crimes, public integrity matters, and other complex or unique cases.

Since leaving the District Attorney’s Office, Kristi has defended clients of all ages, handling CPS, Juvenile, and Criminal Defense cases. Having your child or a loved one in jail and accused of a crime can leave you shaken, but Kristi brings a measure of calm and provides explanations for each step in the process–because she believes knowledge is power.  Kristi ensures her clients understand their options and provides an in-depth analysis of each case.  Kristi’s keen eye for detail and deep diving into cases have yielded many dismissals, charge reductions, and favorable outcomes for her clients.

Kristi is a member of the Texas Bar College, named an Elite Lawyer, and featured as one of the Top 100 Trial Attorneys in Criminal Law by the National Trial Lawyers Association for 2023.

Kristi earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M, College Station, and received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. Outside the firm, Kristi enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the great outdoors.
