Aubrey K. Noonan is a passionate, results-driven criminal defense attorney who is dedicated to providing zealous legal representation in all state and federal matters including investigations, trials, and appeals. Her primary objective is to ensure justice and fair representation for all clients. Aubrey strongly believes that every client is entitled to a rigorous defense, regardless of the circumstances, and is committed to fighting to protect the rights of those accused of crimes across Texas. She takes the time to understand details of every client’s particular situation and practices with a high level of compassion to ensure the best defense. The National Trial Lawyers recognized Aubrey’s advocacy and success by selecting her for inclusion in their Top 40 Under 40 Criminal Defense Attorneys for years 2021 – 2023.
Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas Aubrey graduated, magna cum laude, from the University of North Texas, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Aubrey received her law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law. She served as the Executive Comment Editor of Tech Law’s Estate Planning and Community Property Law Journal. Her article on Bitcoins and estate planning was selected for publication in the EPJ journal. While at Tech Law, she also worked for the Lubbock County District Attorney’s Office, Tarrant County Criminal District Courts’ Judicial Staff Counsel, and for Hurley, Guinn & Sellers. At each position, she gained comprehensive experience developing exceptional relationships with clients, peers and attorneys.
After receiving her law degree, Aubrey went to work for Mills & Williams, L.L.P. in Dallas, Texas. While at the firm for 3 years, she had the opportunity to work with the partners on numerous federal and state criminal cases across Texas. She then spent one year at a large state criminal defense firm, successfully managing a heavy caseload and specializing in defending clients charged with DWIs.
Most recently, Aubrey spent 3 years as the Senior Associate Attorney at The Crowder Law Firm, where she specialized in Crimes Against Children sexual offenses and Assault Family Violence cases, with high dismissal and offense-reduction rates. She utilizes her strong interpersonal and advocacy skills to effectively defend those accused of serious crimes.
Aubrey is licensed to practice law in the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. She is also a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Dallas Bar Association, Collin County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
